2000In 2000, Zweibrüder revolutionized the flashlight market. The approach of equipping a flashlight with an LED instead of a conventional bulb as the light source was truly visionary at the time. The "Photonenpumpe V8" sold millions of units worldwide and marked the beginning of a new era in portable lighting. In 2010, both brothers withdrew from the portable lighting business and sold the company to the Leatherman Group.
2013 - 2023Now, 13 years later, Rainer Opolka returns with the Zweibrüder brand. Together with Tobias Schleder, who served as CMO and headed product development and marketing at a competing company until 2023, we are committed to once again making a contribution — with innovative, sustainably produced, aesthetically appealing, and durable products.
